LEUCORRHOEA
Leucorrhoea refers to a thick whitish discharge from female genitals. The whitish discharge is caused by Kapha dosha , vata dosha, the presence of infection, Estrogen imbalance etc.
SYMPTOMS:
- White discharge from vagina
- Patient feels weak and tired
- Pain in lumbar region and calf muscles
OTHER SYMPTOMS:
- Constipation
- Frequent headache
- Intense itching
In chronic form, patient feels irritable and develops black patches under eyes.
In chronic inflammatory condition, it leads to discharge with pus, offensive in odour and colour varying from cream to yellow or light green.
CAUSES:
Whenever the body is loaded with toxins due to wrong dietary habits and eliminate organs are unable to eliminate the toxins, the body produces a profuse discharge through vagina in form of leucorrhoea.
LEUCORRHOEA IN YOUNG GIRLS:
- In young girls, Leucorrhoea may occur during few years before and after the start of menstrual flow
TREATMENT:
- Panchkarma – Basti, Vaman
