Immunity in Rainy season or Varsha rutu or Monsoon with Ayurveda

The Monsoon or Varsha rutu (Rainy Season) is first season of Visarga kala as mentioned in Ayurveda.  According to Ayurveda, Vata and Pitta dosha are responsible for seasonal diseases in Rainy season. Vata dosha becomes aggravated during the rainy (Monsoon) season which causes weakened digestion, gases etc. health problems. Pitta dosha starts to accumulate during the rainy season due to disturbed acidic condition of the atmosphere and weakened digestion. So the basic remedy for the prevention of diseases in rainy season is to avoid vata and pitta vitiating diet and life style.
