Piles Do’s Don’ts
Do’s
- Take buttermilk regularly ( it should taste like milk/ should not sour/ आंबट)
- Chew your food properly
- Drink Plenty of fluids
- Do take adequate fibers in the diet.
- Always take Fresh foods
- Take regular food intake of Lunch and dinner.
- Loose weight, if you are obese.
- Exercise regularly.
- Walking is the best exercise.
- Do Yogasan like Pavanmuktasan, Vajrasan etc regularly
- Relax your mind, reduce stress levels.
- Always seek Amruta Ayurved’s doctor’s advise
Don’ts
- Don’t drink Tea, Coffee or alcohol
- Never avoid urge for toilet
- Avoid spicy-hot food, curry, Spices, Oil, excessive fats etc
- Avoid heavily digested food, Non veg etc
- Don’t sit in the toilets for long periods. This position gives extra pressure on the anal area
- Don’t strain at stool.
- Avoid late night sleeping
- Don’t lift heavy objects. Even if you lift anything heavy first exhale & don’t hold your breath
- Don’t use laxatives regularly as it may become a habit and cause of the bowels to lose its ability to function normally
- Hurry, worry and curry is absolutely not advisable for Patient of anorectal disorders
- Avoid sitting or standing for long periods as this can exert pressure in the anal area and aggravate the problems
- If your job requires continuous sitting, take a short break in between (half / an hour ) and walk around for some time, this will decrease the pressure in the anal area.
